Osaka’s 「Midosuji winter illumination 2018」officially started on 4th November.
The Midosuji Illumination stretches almost the entire length of the three kilometer long Midosuji Street through central Osaka, there are total 1,300,000 of LED bulbs set up on the street. The river-like LED light illumination is definitely a must-go tourist spot in winter!
The lightening ceremony started at 5:20 p.m., which attracted a lot of people coming to count down.
The pedestrian road of Midosuji became a sparkling river under the reflection of a tons of lights. Hundreds of ginkgo trees as well as several shops and historic buildings that line the street are decked out in colorful lights and decorations, making it a pleasant place for a night stroll.
「Midosuji winter illumination 2018」will end on 31st December. Tourist can catch such beautiful impressive view from Yodoyabasho to shinbashi as well!
